I started for me when I was seven, when I first watched Star Wars as a kid. My young mind didn’t grasp the symbolism and deeper meaning of the classic hero’s tale. I knew two things: Lightsabers were cool, and I wanted one.

I later discovered what really drew me to the epic tale: a love of storytelling. I didn’t know how, but I knew I wanted to pursue the art of storytelling.

For more than 15 years, I’ve been a storyteller—as a journalist, copywriter, editor, and content manager.

It’s my passion. It’s my job.
